One of my dreams came to life about 7 months ago.

Cebu Pacific made it all possible with their promo fares. Our flight was delayed as usual but I couldn't really complain-- my dream trip was finally happening!

Going through immigration and picking up our luggages was easy breezy. After all that, we rented out a pocket WiFi at the airport for Php 510/day, with a total of Php 3,060 for six days. With the uber fast internet connection in Japan, it was worth it.

We got our Japan Rail Passes activated before heading to our next station.

Setting up our pocket WiFi on the train!
Hotels were out of the question as it was too expensive for our budget, so I booked a whole apartment in Nagoya through Airbnb. Best decision ever.

Our place was conveniently located near a train station. There were corner stores, supermarkets, restaurants and a pharmacy within the area, so it was pretty accessible for us.

The whole apartment was quiet, comfortable and had everything we need. The owner even gave us green tea KitKat chocolates as her welcome gift.

A typical apartment in Japan and my favorite part was the washlet
A few blocks away from the apartment was a corner store, where we bought some of our food for our entire stay.

FREE Hello Kitty mugs, which I didn't get, sadly.
On our first whole day in Japan, the agenda was Okunoshima Island.

We train-hopped for 4 hours to see hundreds of feral rabbits!

KAWAII MOMENTS

I was literally in rabbit heaven

After playing and feeding those cute rabbits, we had lunch at a restaurant on the island.

Here's to making one of our dreams come true!!!
I went back to Nagoya with a happy heart. I finally slashed this Rabbit Island trip off my bucket list!!

The next day, we were headed to Osaka. The train rides were 2 hours shorter than the ride we took to Okunoshima.

We didn't have time to eat at the apartment so we just ate on the bullet train.

Katsudon, a bowl of rice topped with deep-fried pork cutlet and egg. YUM!
Universal Studios Japan!

At long last, I got to taste this popular wizarding drink! I had to share with Bani because it was too sweet for my taste.

It tasted like caramelized rootbeer but sweeter

A well-deserved dinner was in order after that eventful day in USJ and it was my first time at a sushi revolving restaurant.

Plates with different colors have different prices ranging from 100-500 yen. We even placed special orders through an iPad and paid through an automated cash registry. EXCELLENT.

A usual sushi restaurant in Japan
We slept in the next day due to bad weather and exhaustion as we've been waking up at 5 a.m. for the past two days. In the afternoon, we went around Tokyo and simply celebrated our anniversary at a ramen joint because DUH, where else?!

Ramen is life
We didn't have time for some 'food trip' because it was either we spent half of our days on trains or we were too busy exploring different parts of Japan. Basically, our trip consisted of sleep, train ride, quick bite, tour, train ride, sleep and more train rides. lol

I ATE THE BEST RAMEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE

After dinner, we accompanied our friend Marchal who wanted to buy some unusual Japanese KitKat flavors for his friend.

I wanted to buy some too, but it was way out of budget. Ginto sa mahal, haha!
